“ The ambiance was upscale and elegant. Service was amazing!!! Servers were attentive and made sure we were doing great. We had the crispy shrimp deviled eggs and the braised pork belly which were great. The best part of the meal was the tomahawk wagyu that we had. Literally melt in your mouth. We paired it with the fresh tasting scallops and mac and cheese. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to go to a nice upscale steakhouse. ”
“ We went there for our 1st anniversary. The service was excellent from beginning to end even the manager of the restaurant came over to speak with us ! The steaks were done perfectly the chef that made our food, came out with the food and presented the steaks! We were seated in an area that was quiet and where there were no distractions from other customers. The sound level was minimal, even though there were other customers in the restaurant it wasn't loud, which I appreciate! I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Next time we're going to try the Wagyu and we're going to split it because it's 22 ounces, I think we can both do about 11 ounces each. the side dishes are à la carte but they're big enough where you can split it between 2 to 3 people. For dessert, we had the warm vanilla caramel cake, delicious!!!! We will definitely go there again ! ”
“ This place has class built around its brand. From my anticipation having the Aston Martin parked for me along side all of the other exotic vehicles, to the professional reception area where all of the staff wore jackets and smiles, It's pretty crowded so It was about a 5 minute wait which wasn't bad. The first time I came in I sat downstairs and this time I sat at the upstairs bar. I ordered the Steak and it came through with the sizzle on the plate! All I can tell you is the Steak had me take the rest home along with the bone. I told them the leftovers were for my doggie bag but I was the culprit who went home to gnaw on the bone. I'm embarrassed to admit that it was just that tasty plus the flavor seemed as though it was charbroiled into that well-seasoned bone. I had to take it home or I would've embarrassed myself at the table. Afterward the waitress kindly dabbed the side of my mouth with a napkin like benson or something. Lol. Once you go down to head outside you have to get your iconic picture with that famous Steak 48 logo in the back. It was amazing! ”
“ This place was sooo good! I didn't get the chance to take adequate photos since I was at a work dinner, but it was seriously amazing. The ambiance was dark and elegant. My favorite appetizer was the burrata with a tomato jam and some crispy crostinis. The combination of the sweet with the cheese was very pleasant it just needed a bit of a salt. Appetizers: 8/10 I got the roasted beet salad which is one of my favorite salads and the beets were cooked well and the goat cheese was really good but the dish was a bit too acidic for my taste 8.5/10 The steak was absolutely amazing! Definitely 10/10. It melted in your mouth and was so tender and very well seasoned. Not to mention the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts paired really well with it. The mashed potatoes were perfect and more of a purée but I still really liked them a lot. I recommend this place and advise people to dress up but don't worry too much about the dress code. A lot of the reviewers got made about people not adhering to the dress code, but the food and service/ambiance should be the focus of the restaurant. ”
“ This upscale steakhouse has become one of our favorite go-to spots, and for good reason! We've visited a few times now, and they never fail to deliver exceptional steaks. The filet mignon is always perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of flavor and prepared exactly to each person's preference--a true mark of a great steakhouse. Their sides are equally impressive. We always enjoy the crème corn, which is a staple for us, but this time we also tried the praline sweet potatoes. They were a delightful surprise, perfectly balancing sweetness with rich, indulgent flavors. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken fried lobster tails, and they were absolutely fantastic--a must-try! The only letdown of the evening was the chocolate cake. As big chocolate lovers, my friend and I found it underwhelming and not quite up to the high standards set by the rest of the meal. That said, the overall experience here is always top-notch. The restaurant is perfect for any occasion--whether it's a date night, a celebration, or an office meeting. The ambiance, service, and quality of food make it a place we'll keep coming back to over and over again. Highly recommended! ”
“ An amazing experience start to finish. Delightful professional and smiling staff. Unbelievable food with wonderful twists and presentations. Excellent wine list. And an elegant upscale setting. Probably one of the best dining experiences in my entire life. Not inexpensive but worth every penny! Favorites dish was definitely the bruleed corn. But their vanilla cake, their house speciality is unlike any cake you've ever had. ”
“ Wow, what an incredible experience at Steak 48 in Houston! Location is gorgeous! From start to finish, my table was treated with exceptional care, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Our server was beyond impressive, unfortunately, I can't remember his name, but it was unique, and we bonded over his Maryland roots, a fun moment shared with one of my Maryland friends at the table. We indulged in what felt like everything on the menu, and every dish was outstanding. The Chilean sea bass was both beautiful and delicious, the crispy shrimp was perfection, the whipped praline sweet potato was unforgettable, and the filet was a true dream. The cocktails were equally amazing, and I have to say, it was the best martini I've ever had. This dining experience elevated my time in Houston and made it even more memorable. Steak 48 is a must-visit for anyone looking for impeccable food, drinks, and service. I can't wait to return! ”
“ Michelle was such a sweet & attentive server, she heightened the experience more than expected and we are grateful! Came for husband's birthday and we were touched at the effort made, seating was perfect as it was a private style booth. The manager hand wrote a note, there were flower petals decorating the table, and we were given free of charge the large portioned & insanely delicious Very Chocolate Cake. Loved everything that was ordered! Crispy shrimp and a couple colossal shrimp cocktail as appetizers. Filet mignons were perfect along with sides of the fried asparagus spears, potato's au gratin, and corn brûlée. ”
“ Easily the best steak you can get in Houston. This spot is perfect to celebrate a special occasion. They have a dress code so dress to impress! For our drinks, we got the stone fruit martini and blackberry bourbon. Both were very high quality cocktails and were not too sweet. For our starters, we ordered the crispy shrimp which is essentially bang bang shrimp and the chicken fried lobster tails. I highly recommend ordering both! The crispy shrimp was the best bang bang shrimp I've ever had. The chicken fried lobster tails were fried perfectly. I was worried it'd get overcooked and end up chewy but it was perfect. For our steak, we shared a special Wagyu cut that was off the menu. I can't remember the exact details of the steak but it melted in our mouth it was amazing. We ordered the corn creme brûlée as our side dish to pair with our steak which is an absolute must here. Parking - valet is available, but if you don't mind walking a little bit, there's limited street parking and a parking garage within the shopping complex that's free. ”
